Space Escape is a fast-paced 3D endless runner focused on speed and dodging obstacles to stay alive. It was developed in Unreal Engine 4's Blueprint system in 4 weeks.
The brief: create a version of an Endless Runner game that demonstrates the ability to drive the Unreal Engine through the use of the Blueprint system.
Space Escape was the first introduction I had to Unreal Engine 4, as well as visual scripting. Despite being quite simple, I am proud of how well this project turned out as I had a lot of fun and put great effort into it. I would like to continue developing it one day as I have many ideas to expand upon the game in its current state.
How to play
- Use W A S D keys to control the ship
- Dodge obstacles
- Survive longer to get a higher score
